FAQ

What is the difference between the Palfique LV and Flow Quick lines?

Palfique LV is Tokuyama’s first flowable composite line and is available in three viscosities; high, medium and low flow. Palfique has limited shade availability A1, A2, A3 (high and low flow) and A1, A2, A3, A3.5 (medium flow). Flow Quick offers the latest technology in Tokuyama flowables incorporating RAP (Radical Amplified Photopolymerization) technology, offering and extended working time and a reduced curing time. Flow Quick L is available in 17 shades and High Flow is available in four shades (A1, A2, A3, OPA2). Indications are similar for both lines.

What is the difference between HF and Flow Quick L? And why would you use one product over the other?

Estelite Flow Quick L is a medium flow composite; it is stackable and will not slump. Flow Quick L is an excellent choice for class V restorations. Estelite Flow Quick HF is a high flow composite with optimal flowability. Flow Quick HF is an excellent choice to use as a liner or the first layer in a restoration.

What is the depth of cure for Palfique LV and Estelite Flow Quick?

The recommended depth of cure is 2mm; however, it is important to always check your light and when using a material for the first time to read the manufacturers instructions for use (IFU).
